About Airdrop
GIWA is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain built on the OP Stack, designed to make Web3 simple, fast, and accessible. It was developed in partnership with Upbit, one of the world’s most trusted exchanges. Together, they aim to create a secure and scalable Web3 ecosystem. With a 1-second block time, GIWA delivers near-instant transactions and keeps full Ethereum compatibility. Developers can deploy existing Solidity smart contracts and continue using familiar tools without adjustments. This makes onboarding easier and faster.
As a builder-friendly Layer 2, GIWA benefits from all OP Stack upgrades and can adapt as the stack evolves. In addition, documentation is available in both English and Korean, which makes development more inclusive for domestic and global teams. By combining Upbit’s financial expertise with high-performance blockchain infrastructure, GIWA is positioning itself as a hub that will bridge liquidity, users, and innovation across the global Web3 ecosystem.
