The Afreum Blackpaper was launched on October 5, 2020 with the mission of building a new cryptocurrency-based payments ecosystem for Africa. Originally conceived as an Ethereum project, Afreum transitioned to Stellar the following month, specifically to deliver inclusive, fast, inexpensive transactions to its core audience in Africa, while also offering DeFi-like options for international users.
Afreum is airdropping a total of $500 based on the account owner’s location. Follow our simple step by step guide to participate!

- Open the airdrop page
- Submit your Xlm address from Lobster
- Join Twitter and telegram
- Invite 5 of your friends

Note:
- First $100 – Everyone qualifies for this base award and gets the full $100 worth of tokens by joining the Afreum Global telegram group.
- Second $100 – The earlier you register for the airdrop the more tokens you receive. E.g. register on Day 1 you get $100 worth of tokens, on Day 2 you get $95 and so on.
- Third $100 – Based on how many AFR you hold at the time of airdrop. E.g. if you hold 1,000,000 AFR and the maximum held by other participants is 10,000,000 AFR, you will get 1000000/10000000 x $100 = $10.
- Fourth $100 – Based on how many of the country tokens you hold at time of airdrop. E.g. if you hold 1,000 AUSD and maximum held by other participants is 2,000 AUSD, you will get 1000/2000 x $100 = $50.
- Last $100 – Based on how many people you successfully refer to Afreum Airdrop 2 – US$20 per referral up to 5 referrals. TIP: Refer people who are likely to participate in airdrop.
Time:
- Registration period is April 7, 2022 12AM UTC – April 27 12PM UTC.
- The snapshot and distribution period is April 27, 2022 12PM UTC – April 30 12PM UTC.
- You must maintain at least the token balances you registered with throughout the snapshot and distribution period.
- Airdrop rewards based on token holdings require you to hold the tokens until after the distribution is complete. Tokens in Afreum Save will NOT be included in your balance.
- Referred friends must participate in the airdrop to qualify for the referrals award.
- Registered entries will be analyzed prior to distribution and any accounts deemed to be gaming the airdrop will be removed.
- Registrations received after cut-off date and time will be discarded.
