What Is Vana?
Vana is an open network that lets you own and control your personal data instead of letting platforms keep it.
You export data from apps, keep it encrypted on your side, and decide who can use it. When apps or AI systems request access, you approve or reject the request. The decision and the access get recorded onchain. Value can flow back to you when your data is used.
It started as an MIT research project and is now a Layer 1 blockchain focused on user-owned data for AI. The network has mainnet live, the VANA token is active, and it has processed millions of verified data reads. DataDAOs let groups pool data under shared rules while users stay in control.

You spend that XP in a weekly Store by placing bids on items. The highest bid at close wins. A fresh Store opens every week with new rewards such as merch. If you used older Vana apps before, you can transfer your previous XP into the new system.
